There’s no denying 2012 has been the year of the print. From floral to baroque, geometric to paisely, prints of all shape, style, size and colour dominated the spring summer runways and quickly filtered down to our high street stores and street style sites.
The overwhelming take up of print across all designer brands meant most of us have worn it in some form over the past year, whether we were ready for it or not. There is a real art to pulling off print effortlessly, but thankfully the `artful clash’ became a trend within the trend which saw mismatching prints styled in the one outfit, head-to-toe. Floral on floral was also a popular look.
